Dry Utilities
The proper design and coordination of dry utilities will streamline the design and construction process and minimize conflicts in the field; this, consequently, reduces construction costs. The dry utilities include Power Service, Telephone Service, Cable TV Service and Gas Service. Our services include negotiations, discussions and meetings with the utility companies in order to obtain the most cost effective and expeditious utility services for the facility. In addition, coordination with all consultants (architect, landscape architect, site / landscape lighting designer, civil engineer, etc.) will be performed in order to ensure that there are no gaps in the utility services. The location of the utility company transformer, pull-boxes, conduits, utility meters and terminating points within the building will be coordinated. In addition, the routing of all utility conduits and piping will be coordinated. D&A ensures that all of our Clientʼs needs are met by every member of the design team — leaving no holes in the design and aiding in a flawless construction process.
