Manhattan Beach Studios, Manhattan Beach, CA
Fourteen new 25,000 square foot sound stages with associated 150,000 square feet of production and post production offices. This project required meetings and consultations with mechanical and electrical operating personnel from several film and TV studios in California since the facilities were designated for rental purposes. Every studio has its own unique way of filming and stage construction; therefore Manhattan Beach Studios MEP design required maximum flexibility in order to provide the most cost effective method to satisfy different studios´ numerous demands. The project also entailed the design of broadcasting space, film storage, satellite dishes and maintenance shops.

Los Angeles Center Studios, Los Angeles, CA
Full MEP design for 6 new 18,000 square feet sound stages with associated dressing rooms located in the parking lot of the old Unocal Building in the downtown Los Angeles area. The project also included the design of broadcasting space, film storage, satellite dishes and maintenance shops. The challenges of this project required creative engineering for the provision of a new electrical service in a very condensed area, new mechanical equipment, sophisticated lighting system, plumbing provisions for dressing rooms, and coordination with the services of the existing high rise building.

Raleigh Studios, Los Angeles, CA
New 18,000 square feet sound stage and production support facilities for one of the oldest studios in Los Angeles. New 7-story, 150,000 s/f building, specifically designed for Disneyland operation with numerous post production facilities. Every square foot of this facility has a different functionality and required specific MEP services. The new digital production component required special consideration for clean power, emergency power, energy efficient lighting and unique mechanical equipment.
